Does a positive HPV test mean cancer?+
No. A positive HPV test identifies an infection with a tested virus type; it is not a cancer diagnosis. Your result is interpreted alongside your age, history and other test results. NCI source ↗
Can I bring reports from previous assessments?+
Yes. Bring pathology reports, imaging reports and available image files, along with treatment summaries. Your doctor can explain whether pathology slides or other records need review.
Is the same surgical approach suitable for everyone?+
No. The diagnosis, extent of disease, general health and individual priorities influence the plan. A research finding about a group does not automatically determine the best option for one person.
